Cleaning Supplies
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Dish soap (optional)
- A Spray bottle
- Microfibre cloths
- An old toothbrush
- A squeegee
Clean Dirty Shower Doors In 6 Steps
- Start by wetting the shower doors with water from the shower head or with a bucket of water.
- Fill an empty spray bottle with white vinegar, spray the vinegar and saturate the shower doors.
- Leave the vinegar to soak on the glass for 10 minutes. If there’s more build-up then let the vinegar sit for longer.
- Dip a soft sponge into baking soda and scrub the shower door. This will remove soap scum and hard water spots.
- Once clean, rinse your shower doors with fresh water.
- Thoroughly dry the shower doors with a clean microfibre cloth from top to bottom.
Other Ways To Clean Dirty Shower Doors
- Start with half a cup of baking soda in a bowl, and add enough water to form a thick baking soda paste. Apply the paste to your shower doors and scrub with a soft sponge or rub the paste with a glove. Then use a cloth dipped in vinegar to wipe the doors down before rinsing off with water. Don’t forget to dry shower doors with a microfibre cloth or towel.

Cleaning Shower Door Tracks

- Pour white vinegar into the tracks and leave to sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Remember to not fill or overflow the tracks with vinegar. Use a grout brush or old toothbrush to scrub the tracks free from debris.
- After 5 minutes, use tissue paper to soak up the vinegar, then rinse with warm water.

- Lastly, wipe the tracks dry with a microfibre cloth.
- Regularly check the tracks and drain, make sure to clear any moisture to prevent build-up of dirt.
